Exposed midriffs and orange being the new black...these seem the most popular trends for Spring/Summer 2014

Here are two of my favourite designers collections from NYFW

ALEXANDER WANG

Known for his grungy/chic street style.

This season his name is everywhere, literally all over his clothing. 

Wang embeds his name in clothing, such as a pair of white leather gloves where WANG appeared written in punched out letters and laser cut into dresses

Minimalistic, leather and midriffs exude Wang

My favourite items of clothing have to be the spaghetti strap dresses, the boxing like shorts and the oversized coats.

I adored the combination of the boxer shorts and undone shirts. 

OPENING CEREMONY

Statement block colours, kimono style tops, florals and urban street wear are some of the key connotations with Opening Ceremony's Spring/Summer 2014 collection.

STYLE MUSE : CHLOE SEVIGNY

Chloe Chloe Chloe...you get me every time...

She has attained many achievements such as becoming a known actress featuring in indie films and model. However i know her best for her incredible style. 

Her unique style has considered her a fashion icon. Sevign exudes this quirky but chilled sex appeal, which is achieved through her laid-back, vintage look which she presents from her boyish outfits, to girly staples like a-line mini skirts and floral blouses. 

This is why shes one of my style icons.

As you may know I'm a huge fan of Opening Ceremony, and to top that off, Chloe has collaborated with them for 2013 NYFW. Made up of mini dresses, matching shirt and jacket suit, flatform clogs (which i adore) and of course a-line mini skirts, its any fan of Chloe's heaven.
